"I went to a ceilidh with The Sassenachs at the ceilidh club in London. What an awesome night. The band is amazing. So much energy. The place was packed and everyone was having heaps of fun. Don’t worry if you’ve never done ceilidh dancing before as the announcer gives superb instructions to follow and if you do make a mistake it’s all part of the fun anyway. Highly recommend these guys!"

"We hired the Sassenachs to play our wedding and they were absolutely tremendous. Laurie is a brilliant Caller and went out of his way to make sure everyone got involved - only about half of our guests had been to a ceilidh before but everyone had a great time. We are very grateful to Laurie for taking great care to ensure our first dance went off to plan and for looking after the playing of our own playlist after the Sassenachs' set had finished. What a great night! Laurie and the band were brilliant and made everything happen perfectly. They arrived early, were very friendly and full of answers to all the questions we had. The players and the sound were fantastic and Laurie judged the dancing perfectly. Before each dance he explained the steps quickly and clearly and called them as we went along so we all knew what to do next. There was a feeling of energy and excitement in the room as the evening went on and people grew in confidence..... Thank you!
